Emily Stubbs
Integrative Psychotherapist
Emily is a UKCP-registered Integrative Psychotherapist at Sysi. She brings a diverse range of experience from both the private sector and public NHS specialist services.
Emily takes an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring her work to meet the unique needs of each client. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including relational psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and humanistic approaches.
Emily works with clients experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body image issues, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. She also supports individuals exploring identity, sexuality, and gender, as well as those navigating life transitions such as fertility, motherhood, and parenthood.
Emily’s practice is grounded in warmth, curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. She aims to create a space where clients can explore their experiences, identities, and emotions safely and openly.
She is currently completing her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute and holds a BSc in Psychology from The Open University.
